Blue Ice Amsonia

Masses of dark lavender-blue flowers cover compact, leafy stems in late spring, each five-petaled bloom about ¾" across. Blue Ice is an exceptionally floriferous and low maintenance amsonia with a tidy, erect habit and strong seasonal appeal. Its narrow leaves turn a warm golden yellow in autumn, extending garden interest well beyond bloom time. Dependably deer resistant and drought tolerant, it’s ideal for borders, rock gardens or naturalized groupings.
