Princess Bride Peony

With its giant, perfectly shaped, pristine white blooms reminiscent of a veiled bride on her wedding day, it's hard to find a prettier peony. The flowers, which measure 7" in diameter, feature rounded and cupped guard petals girdling a ball-shaped centre filled with smaller, loosely packed petals. They bloom early in the season on strong stalks and release a strong scent. The pure white of the flowers seems even brighter when set off by the plant's lush, green foliage.
