It has been a long road to breeding a true red iris, but the result is a real work of art! Red Masterpiece is a gorgeous bearded variety that really packs a punch in seasonal borders, presentation beds and mixed cutting gardens. Each stalk yields 8-9 double-socketed buds for lavish, velvety, wine-crimson blooms with glistening golden beards. Tall, straight stalks give this wonderful iris a stately appearance, especially in mass plantings.
